Many receive the opportunity at Upper Secondary to appreciate Chinese culture through immersion trips to different parts of China (pre-pandemic). Hwa Chongians deepen their understanding of the country via lessons at partner schools, interaction with local students, field trips, and industrial visits. Given the current travel restrictions, e-immersion programmes through virtual means have been carried out.
